New step in innovation program realisation on TMK-INOKS
September 27, 2012, the area for production of welded precision tubes of stainless steels and alloys was opened on "TMK-INOKS", part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK). Designer and contractor executing a work is CJSC "UKSH" areas No. 6 and No. 7.
The ceremony of opening of the new production was attended by Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eugeny Kuyvashev, Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk region, Vladislav Pinaev, TMK CEO Alexander Shiryaev, managing director SinTZ Sergei Chetverikov, Director General of "TMK-INOKS" Leonid Marchenko.
The project has two lines for pipe welding of Italian firm OLIMPIA-80 - one of the leading manufacturers of equipment for the production of welded pipes. Line T30 \ 35s can produce pipes with diameters from 8 mm to 33 mm and wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 3 mm, the line T70/120 - pipes with diameters from 25 mm to 114 mm and wall thickness from 1 to 5 mm.
The new area for the production of welded stainless steel pipes can produce products of high quality which is in great demand in the automotive industry, food, energy and construction industries, the relevant world standards and the standards DIN 17457-11850, ASTM A249, A269, A270, NFA 49147-49249.
After the release of the equipment area at full capacity the project envisages production of 10,000 tons of high-tech welding of stainless steel pipes and alloys. Thanks to this new production there are now more than 50 job places.
